At our school, we start each day with Circle Time. We typically start by singing songs about greeting the day and each other.
Activity based learning lessons in language and literacy, mathematics and numeracy, geography, science, art and technology (STEM based).
Despite the difficulty of getting everyone through the hand-washing process and sitting at the table, snack-time is an enjoyable part of the day.
Playtime is at the heart of our preschools' curriculum. . We have regular gardening classes, and the kids get to grow herbs, vegetables and play with mud.
Lunch is another fun and social time of the day. It’s easy to enjoy the chatter at the lunch table. A lot of great conversations happen there.
At Tiny Twigs, we wrap up each day through calming routines like storytelling and guided discussions, we create a sense of closure and a peaceful transition to the end of their day.
